Genderbendy Shopping Buddy
Ever want to go clothes shopping, but feel uncomfortable going alone? Or do you love shopping and would be happy to go with someone? Sign up for our Gender Shopping Program!
This is a program that is still being developed, and we need your help. Clothes shopping can be a very gendered experience. For some people that’s great, but for others there is a layer of challenge. Whether it’s fear of being called out by the salesperson or not being familiar with the type of clothes you want to try, sometimes you just want a shopping buddy. We’re trying to match up people who want a shopping buddy with people willing to be a shopping buddy. If you are interested in either (or both) please fill out the this form.
Raising a Rainbow: From “Why me?” to “Where do we go from here?” This is a safe & resilient space for parents, grandparents, caretakers, and guardians of gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, genderqueer, intersex, asexual individuals or individuals who are questioning their gender and/or sexuality.
This is an ongoing group which meets once a month. Please email auburnpflag@gmail.com for date and times if you’d like to join. We will also be happy to speak with you one on one if you need someone to talk to.
We welcome people of all races, religions, cultures, gender expressions and sexual orientations. We welcome people at all stages of understanding and acceptance of LGBTQ issues. PFLAG strives to meet people where they are. We ask that everyone in this space be respectful of other’s personal journey even if it does not reflect your own.
Our meetings are not open to the press, are confidential, and no pictures are taken of members. For more about PFLAG visit (pflag.org).
